Build a class investigation
Begin with a historical question, inspect the evidence and compare possible interpretations. Nexus Historia supports Historical record, Historical inquiry and Counterfactual modes so learners can distinguish what is documented from what they infer or imagine.
A practical first lesson
Choose a turning point. Ask learners to identify what is known, propose one changed decision and explain an immediate and a longer-term consequence. For a configured 13–17 assignment, set a journey target, review the chosen route as an immersive story, then submit an evidence-based reflection for the teacher.
Guided Classroom Timelines
Authorised teachers can assign a private Living Timeline, lock selected branches and pin primary-source links. Adult learners join with a classroom code and can save a private route without changing the teacher’s master timeline. Learners aged 13–17 use a separate institution workspace for reviewed assignments with flexible journey lengths, private AI branches, historical conversations, immersive story viewing, fixed submissions and teacher feedback or revisions. AI requires recorded institution arrangements and learner permission and uses the institution allowance.
Access and learner privacy
Personal accounts and adult institution accounts remain 18+. Learners aged 13–17 require a verified institution and a teacher-issued NHL- code at /education/learn. They have no personal credits or adult app access, and their restricted access never converts to a personal account after expiry. Under-13s are not eligible. Adult education allowances have a defined expiry; purchased personal credits do not expire.
